You’re sweating bullets after circling the lake a few times. It’s been a steady pace—a dash, even, as you outrun seasonal stress with every mile. Exercise can be cleansing.
We only mean that in a metaphysical sense, of course. You’re actually increasing your sebum production, which means that forehead sweat of yours is a particularly-sticky strain of sweat.
Don’t sweat it.
You know where we’re going with this, right? We don’t have to remind you that skin is especially vulnerable after an intense jog. The image of grime as it gets trapped in the skin, potentially morphing into new blemishes—well, we don’t have to delve into that.
For now, grab that bottle of filtered water. Flush residual weariness into thin air. Drink away.
Your faucet is running. Are you feeling happy about your decision to banish your previous cleanser, the one that threw your combination skin into disarray? Your cheeks dried out, and your T-zone turned greasier than it was before your morning jog.
Enter citrus mint cleanser.
The smell under your nose is intoxicating in itself—that’s how our gelled Citrus Mint Cleanser greets you. Lemon-fresh topnotes mingle with all-natural herbs as your complexion is enveloped in freshness and nutrients, nourishment and fortification.
What’s inside?
Naturally, the formula goes deeper. Skin is soothed by calendula flowers, lavender and comfrey, which are all hand-selected, and naturally detoxifying to skin. They’re not alone, either. Pure plant essence is abundant: seed oils of comfrey, rosemary, and olives love clarifying pores.
Then, of course, the witch hazel. It’s powerfully-fortifying: the tannins, flavonoids and resin in our organic distillate even have the ability to tighten the look of puffy eyes (that’s a cherry on top, is it not?) with versatile antioxidants. It’s part of the arsenal that sets this face wash apart from our creamier Aloe Herb Cleanser, and a big reason why we’re optimistically assured of its ability to balance your complexion—no matter how excessively oily one might be.
One thing is for certain: you’re not fighting oil with water. We love high-quality H2O in all its forms—but not in our aloe-happy facial cleansers. When it comes to our aloe-based Citrus Mint Cleanser, we’ve eliminated water content because we’ve eliminated toxic preservatives.
How long does it last?
Of course, we hope you get nowhere near its two-year shelf-life: with daily use, you can expect all our cleansers to last you through the month. That’s more than a couple dozen lakeside runs without worrying about smog, sweat, and grime.
Those kind of environmental stressors can wear anybody out, but physical and facial transformation are within reach. You’re getting there.
