Kate – Annmarie Skin Care In-House Esthetician: So making sure to choose the right cleanser for your skin type is also going to help set up your whole routine so that everything kind of seeps in appropriately.
Now before I get too far, I want to call out that some of the products are going to have this lovely tan label. Some of them are going to have this lovely black label. The black label, these products, this is our Wild Alchemy collection. We call the tan label our Signature Collection but the big thing to note with the Wild Alchemy collection, it, it tends to be a little bit more exotic the ingredient selection is usually a little harder to source but most of the Wild Alchemy collection tends to be pretty laser focused on addressing signs of aging. The signature collection has several products that are great for signs of aging too, but it also will have products that are great for normal skin, great for oily skin, great for clogged pores prone skin. It's a little bit broader in what it's addressing. The wild alchemy, generally speaking, is like laser focused for signs of aging. I wanted to make that clear before we even started here. Let's start with our classic cleanser.
Now this cleanser, this is our Aloe Herb Cleanser,
and this is a very tried and true cleanser. This cleanser is great for most skin types. The consistency of this, let's see if it'll, if, you know, if you can really see it on my hand here. Nope, that one's gone. Maybe a bit here. Very smooth, very light. It has almost this lotion look to it. When you mix it with water a key ingredient here is aloe vera juice. And when aloe mixes with water, it takes on this kind of saponification feel. And so you really get a lot of the cleansing aspect from the aloe that is part of this final blend here. Now this cleanser is great for, like I mentioned, most skin types. Also ideal for dry, aging, and sensitive skin. The blend of this, it has a little bit of coconut oil in it. It's a small enough amount that it usually isn't more than you, you notice it. There isn't any kind of residue left behind. It doesn't really have, you know, too much of an oily feel to it. It's suspended really nicely with that aloe vera juice. But it does have just a little bit of this nourishing feel, this very fatty feel to it. That lends itself really nicely to dry skin and aging skin. The blend of this also includes several herbs that are super helpful for soothing skin. So if you are somebody, I think at least one person, if not more, had mentioned sensitive or sensitive prone skin temporary redness, either former or current experiences with temporary redness, this can help to soothe the irritation, soothe the redness. Really just soothe the overall skin. For normal skin types, you know, skin types that are like, you know, I could go one way or the other, this one's also really great. Because of the feel of it, it leaves just nice, a nice smoothness to the skin, a nice softness to the skin. It doesn't really feel like it's not stripping the skin. It's not leaving a ton of moisture behind. Normal skin types also tend to like this one. So this is a really popular one I saw several people had gotten the serum trio this obviously isn't going to come in that one, but we have several trial kits that will have some cleansers in it, and this is a popular one in the cleansers and for those who, who had asked questions in the surveys about the serum trio, we will answer those when we hit the serums, when we're talking about the serums, so don't worry, we haven't forgotten you.
The next cleanser here is this one. This is the Citrus Mint Cleanser. Now the consistency of this one is much more like gel based. You can really see that difference. It's very like a nice light gel. The feel of this one is ideal for skin that gets oily. Skin that gets oily, even normal to oily, it's still pretty balanced. So if you are oily and sensitive or oily and prone to irritation, this can still be supportive. The blend of that one has a lot of the aloe. It also has a lot of peppermint. It has some rosemary. You can really smell the peppermint in this one. We've got some citrus, so there's some orange in here as well. Very, very light feeling. And what I like about this one, if you are someone who is oily prone it doesn't over strip the skin. So skin still feels very balanced. It just really cuts through oil in a way that none of the other cleansers really quite do. And this one, like the aloe herb, does come in two sizes. So there's a smaller one, the 50, and then the larger one, which is a hundred milliliters. Now the next one, actually the next two here are part of the wild alchemy collection.
So this first one is this one. This is the Phytonutrient Cleanser. And again, I'll show kind of the consistency here. This has a nice, full, rich body to it. Its probably closest comparison is the Aloe Herb Cleanser. And with the Aloe Herb Cleanser, it's got this nice light weightness to it. This is pretty rich. So it does lend itself really nicely to dry skin. The blend of this one is really ideal for skin that is experiencing aging, either early signs of aging or more pronounced signs of aging. So a couple ingredients really specifically support that one of the key ingredients in here is a mango seed butter, and that really gives it that full rich consistency. So you get this very full kind of almost wobbly fatty body to the cleanser. And it really helps just soothe the skin. Soften the appearance of fine line another key ingredient that we have in the Phytonutrient Cleanser is our signature serum blend and We incorporate the signature serum blend because it's this very lightweight blend that we start all of our serums with it's this aloe Kind of floral steeped variation, but it's really pointed again for addressing and softening the appearance of fine lines so With all of the cleansers, it's probably a good rule of thumb, but with this one specifically, we definitely recommend that you use this on the face at least 30 seconds so that you gleam the full benefit of the serum blend. Gleam the full benefits of the whole product, but at least the serum blend, because what happens when you use it for 30 seconds is you really give it time to absorb into the skin versus just being like a quick application and then down the drain. This is also the most ideal one to support darkened areas of the face. So whether that's sun damage, whether that's a blemish that has left the appearance of a dark spot behind, one of the ingredients in here is, is apple extract and it's, Just slightly helpful. It's got this nice, nice light feel to it to help to bring pigmentation up to the surface. So this is a good one for kind of a myriad of signs of aging dry skin, the appearance of fine lines yeah, this is a big one for the appearance of fine lines and then darkened areas of the face. They only have certain skin types that I don't particularly love. These are really sensitive skin types. So if you are someone who reported you know any variation of sensitivity, this one can be a little bit active for really sensitive skin types. It's not always the case, sometimes people have normal, you know, skin that might vary in between normal and sensitive, or it's like, grown to sensitivity but if you are someone who knows you are sensitive, the Aloe Herb Cleanser is probably going to be a better fit for you.
Now the final cleanser I'll mention is this one.
This is the Restorative Cleansing Oil. I'm not going to pump this one on the back of my hand because it is a blend of just oils. It's just oil here. And so it's a little bit hard to wipe it off when I'm doing the calls here. But the feel of this one is pretty rich. It uses a manuka oil, which is a nice light I don't know. Nice, like, creamy oil. It's not as light as something like a grapeseed or a jojoba. It's a little bit more weighted. But the feel of this one is great for really dry skin types or someone who's maybe normal to dry, but just wants a little bit extra moisture. Now, the way you use this one, generally speaking, is a little bit different. So with others, we tend to recommend that you do a, you know, you wet your fingers. Put the cleanser on, rub it in. With this one, to get the maximum amount of kind of moisture in the skin, we recommend dry fingers on a dry face. So dry fingers, dry face. If you're super, super dry, you might let it stay on the skin, you know, 30 seconds to a minute. If it's normal to dry, you might rinse it off pretty quickly, but When it stays on a little bit longer, it just seeps in a little bit more deeply. But this is really ideal for the skin type that is just like seeking moisture. You are constantly looking for a way to boost the moisture level in your skin. And you're kind of constantly combating feeling really dry. So this is a really supportive one for that particular skin type. Now if you are someone who uses this one you have a couple of options as far as removal. Because it's this oil blend, it's just oils in this, this, this cleansing oil when you splash water on your face, Naturally, a fair amount of it is left behind, and if you're really dry, you tend to love that. That's like exactly what you're going for. Now, if you're someone who's somewhat normal or normal to dry, you know, you're dry but maybe not that dry using something like a washcloth, go and get it just like warm and wet, and kind of wiping the cleanser off is a great way to go. That removes just a little bit more. The final option would be to just come in with a subsequent cleanser, something like the phytonutrient, something like the aloe herb to remove any of that excess that you're wanting to have rinsed off. No, you can use, you know, Cleansers, your preferred cleanser can vary for some seasons.
You know, my skin type is fairly normal to dry. In the summertime, I might use the Citrus Mint Cleanser a little bit more, whereas in the wintertime, I like purely Aloe Herb Cleanser. Sometimes the Phytonutrient Cleanser, I integrate the Phytonutrient Cleanser sometimes, but I'm a huge Aloe Herb Cleanser fan, so it's normal to have more than one that would feel good to you.
Let's do it. Let's get into toning this. So your next step in your routine is your toning mist. Now, all of our cleansers are already pH balanced, so you don't have to do any extra steps to, like, get the pH of your skin, like, right back to normal. The cleansers keep it nice and balanced. Where the toning mists come in and the purpose that they serve is they all are gonna provide this burst of hydration. And it might be a lighter hydration if you're on the oily side, it might be a deeper, richer hydration if you're someone who's drier. They're formulated differently. But a burst of hydration and a burst of nutrition. And again, that nutrition will depend on the one that you are selecting. All of these are also very ideal. Steps that come right before the serums. So all of our serums contain some variation of a humectant and a humectant is essentially this ingredient that seeks out moisture in its environment and pulls it to it in order to plump up and expand. So we utilize a couple of different types of humectants and I'll get into those more when we talk about the serums, but when you've got a little bit of moisture on the skin from something like the toning mist.
Your skin is that much more prepped for the serum. And so your plumping effect is boosted just a little bit. Another thing that's really supportive with the Toning Mist is they help the serum and they help the oil really penetrate more deeply into the skin. Because they're very light, because they're very thin, they've got this aqueous consistency, when you apply this serum and you apply the oil over the top of them, as all kind of absorbs, it absorbs together and is pulled in a little bit more deeply. So toning this Highly recommend.
I'm going to start with this one. This is the Neroli Toning Mist. This is again a very tried and true, very classic one. This is one that we've had for quite a while and so it is pretty popular. The blend of this product is very simple. We've got an aloe vera juice base, We've got neroli essential oil, we've got a little bit of aspen bark. The aspen bark is largely just to keep the ingredients kind of suspended nicely together. And that's it. So the aloe vera juice here provides the super light hydrating burst. And when I use the word hydration, I'm speaking to the moisture content of the lower layers of the skin. Typically, I'll use the word moisture to speak to the fat and the moisture level of the upper layers of the skin, what's visible. But this helps to seep in and plump up these lower layers of the skin. Now it utilizes the neroli essential oil, and neroli essential oil is a really helpful one for the appearance of fine lines. Specifically the appearance of fine lines that are from repeated facial expressions. So like the forehead, you know, creasing in between the crow's feet, these are just like, you know, when you make a facial expression, sometimes they linger a little bit longer after the expression is complete. And so this can help with that. It obviously smells quite a bit like the Neroli essential oil and if you get into aromatics at all, Neroli has this reputation for being this like mood booster. So for a while, I haven't seen it in a long time actually, I think that 2020 people didn't work in desks as often, but for a while I had so many customers who would just keep it on their desk at work and they would, it would be like their midday refresher and mood boost and all of that.
Now the next one, this is the Rosemary Toning Mist and this one is largely to help control oil. And so this one is kind of most suited for oilier skin types or blemish prone skin types. It does still start with an aloe vera juice. But it's kind of steeped with rosemary, neem, white willow bark. All of these are designed to be cutting through oil and kind of gobbling up the excess oil. So I do have several customers who would probably proclaim that their skin is on the drier side, but they get really shiny like, you know, mid afternoon. And so they use this one as kind of their midday shine control. They're using this one to just absorb excess oil on the skin. And it's a nice shine control, whether you're oily or dry, that just looks kind of shiny, because it just gobbles up the excess oil. So skin still carries this, like, very natural radiance, this very, you know, healthy, youthful glow. The final one, and I will point out it's a larger bottle size here. This is the rosemary.
This is this one. This is the Botanical Hydration Mist with Immortelle. Now this one is ideal for really dry, more pronounced aging, and sensitive skin. We started this one, so the other two start with a very light aloe base. This one starts with a blend of two different hydrosols. Now a hydrosol is a great start for this one because what a hydrosol is, is it's essentially this like, watery runoff that happens when you create an essential oil via steam, so steam distillation. There's this, like, watery runoff that happens where it is not quite water, but it's definitely not as thick or rich as an oil. It's just this very soft, very buttery, aqueous feel. The two hydrosols that we've chosen here, we have both a rose, and an immortelle. And both of those are these florals that are known for their anti aging effects on the skin. Immortelle, it also goes by helichrysum. So if you're looking at certain ingredients, it'll probably say helichrysum parentheses immortelle, but we wanted to lean into the immortelle angle of it because it's this flower that has this legend. Of being the flower of immortality. It's been known centuries over centuries for keeping this youthful glow to the skin. So we really, you know, we wanted to lean into that with the naming of this product. So those two ingredients really lend itself nicely to super dry skin. So skin that gets really dry, skin that is really dry, skin that has more pronounced signs of aging specifically due to being really dry, all of that, this is helpful to kind of just Combat. The other angle of this, though, is aside from the two hydrosols, we've got in here several different types of chamomile and some frankincense. So for my really sensitive skin types, temporary redness prone, just really any irritation that comes up in the skin, this really helps to soothe that, to soothe that redness, to soothe that flare up and help to calm that irritation down. So yeah, this one, this is a good one. I have several customers who, this is actually the, they are subscribed to this product and this product only. They like to use the other products, but not with the same consistency that they use. They use this one here. So Grace, anything you want to add? Grace is usually my spokesperson for this one because she uses it so much.
Grace – Annmarie Skin Care Marketing Assistant: I do love it so much. I'm basically like a cheerleader at this point. I, So a little background on my skin. I have extremely dry skin. No matter what time of the year it is, I have extremely sensitive skin. I deal with temporary redness. So there's just like a lot going on. And like Kate mentioned, it's just beautiful for kind of soothing the skin, temporary redness. I always say internally that it is my best friend in a spray bottle because I take it literally everywhere because if I eat cheese, my skin gets red like it's so many things and I just spritz it all the time So it is fabulous. And if you have sensitive skin, I highly highly highly highly recommend it
Kate – Annmarie Skin Care In-House Esthetician: See, this is why I have her talk about it, because she's such a big fan. How you use it, how you use all the toning mists is very straightforward. You have a little mister on the top, and you simply must your skin and leave it on the skin. You don't need to put it onto a cotton round, you don't need to use a cotton round or anything to wipe it off. It's so easy. And occasionally someone will ask, like, how many mists you do. I don't know. Every time I'm like, I'm going to count, but it's just, it's essentially how much it takes for your skin to feel a little bit damp but not so damp that it's dripping. Right? So that the whole face has been covered, but you're not, it's not running off, running off the skin. Okay. Let's shift gears. Any questions about the toning mist?
Okay. I'm assuming silence means I'm so thorough. Everybody got their questions answered before they even had them.
Serums tend to be a thinner consistency product. They can be either water based, they can be aloe based, but they're designed to seep into the low layers of the skin, and to work on supporting, changing, and addressing issues in the skin at a deeper level. So serums can sometimes take a little bit longer for you to start to notice a big shift, a big turnaround. Sometimes as long as serums last. And then these over the next four to six weeks because that's essentially how long it takes for these lower layers of the skin to make their way to the top to be visible skin. And so it's really normal for there to be a little bit of a turnaround time specifically with something like stem cells.
and Skin brighteners, stem cells help with the lift and the tautness of the skin. Skin brighteners, of course, are going to help with darkened areas of the face. So a sun spot or, or sun damage or something along those lines. It can just take a little bit of time to notice a difference using any of the products that specifically are addressing those.
Syrups also tend to be your treatment step. Treatment used in the sense of like this is the step where you're considering what your high priorities are, what your concerns are, and working to address these concerns here at this step. Now, all of them are going to have some hydrators, all of them are going to have some kind of quick brighteners, you know, even out the tone. So it's not like you use a serum and nothing happens for six weeks just specifically with stem cells for the lift of the skin and for brighteners with sunspots, those take a little bit of time. Now, let's start here.
This is a very classic one. The Anti-Aging Serum is actually one of our best sellers. This one and the Anti-Aging Facial Oil kind of dance. So they go back and forth. This one's been a big enough seller that we launched the larger size. So we were observing not just a high purchase rate, but a high repurchase rate with this which is where we were like, Oh, let's create this more cost effective, more sustainable, larger option here. So this one is the only serum at this point, at least that you can get in one of two sizes, the 15 or the 30 milliliter. Now, this one, I think one of the pieces that attributes to its popularity, it has a lot of hyaluronic acid, and hyaluronic acid is a humectant that has a pretty quick turnaround as far as providing this plump look to the skin so this one is great for drier skin, dehydrated skin, skin that's lacking specifically skin that's starting to show the appearance of fine lines or is exhibiting signs of aging because it's Lacking some moisture because it needs a little bit of support. It's feeling extra dry. This also has in it, this really lovely, very light floral blend. And this light floral blend we use, what do we have? We have roses, we have Life Everlasting flowers. A couple more, but we have hand selected these florals because they're known for softening the appearance of fine lines, softening the appearance of deeper creasing. They really attribute to the resiliency of the skin and helping skin stay nice and like, you know, kind of have a quicker bounce back again, with something like a facial expression. So that that crease isn't staying in the face you know, quite as long after that expression is completed. The scent profile of this one, I guess we haven't been doing too many scents, but this one smells a lot like rose. It's just like a nice light blend. See if I can capture the consistency of it here. So that's the feel of it. It's this nice, like, light somewhat thin. It's not too thin, but thin enough that it would run down my hand.
Also, a thing to note, you'll see this one has this really lovely golden color. It's really normal with all of our products.
For them to have a color variation batch to batch because we work with small farms because we're working with organic herbs, we kind of liken it to like grapes on a vine. Like some seasons, they're gonna, you know, have a little bit of a different makeup. And so the color variation could be everything from like a very light, almost clear yellow. It could be this richer golden. It could be, you know, kind of anywhere in between. But as long as the scent is normal for you, then it's normal. Sometimes we'll have people who reach us and they're like, Oh my gosh, it was almost clear last time and now it's golden. And it's, it's part of it. It's, you know, using these fresh herbs. It's what happens. They look a little different from time to time. So. So that's the Anti-Aging Serum. Skin types that love this one, dry skin types really have any sign of aging, oftentimes earlier signs of aging. I've got another couple of serums that are a little bit helpful for, for you know, drooping or more pronounced creasing in the face, but earlier signs of aging, lighter signs of aging, all of that.
The next one is Citrus Stem Cell Serum. This one here. This is working to support the skin and two primary kinds of focuses. One of them is, as the name suggests, the stem cell angle of it. We use in this one, a citrus peel derived stem cell. And it might go without saying, but any stem cell that's in our product is a plant derived.
We don't use any bovine or other chemicals. But any other, it's all plant derived. The plant will vary, but otherwise, comes from a plant. We've got citrus peel derived stem cells in this one, and stem cells, like I briefly mentioned, are super helpful for drooping in the skin. What stem cells do is they essentially, when you apply them, seep into the lower layers. Stem cells sit next to your existing skin, And then as this moves up to the surface to become the visible skin, your skin mimics the behavior of stem cells. So stem cells are an important integration in helping to stave off, helping to soften the appearance of and just overall support. And it's also directly supportive for drooping or sagging and all of that. But like I mentioned, the way this works, because it takes a little bit of time for the this, you know, the lower layers to move up to the surface, it can take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks for you to notice the difference and then it's kind of cumulative from there tends to be more pronounced with continued usage, but it does take a little bit of time on the onset there to notice the difference. Now the other angle of this is the brightening property. So we include in here, uva ursi Licorice Root and Omelaberry, and all three of these are very potent skin brighteners in the way that they target darkened areas of the face. So Uva Ursi and Licorice Root, what, how those work is they work with darkened pigmentation, they work with darkened areas of the face. They kind of build up on a darkened area. So like a sunspot or something like that, and they help that darkness kind of go back to sleep. They help that to fade. Likewise, with the stem cells, it takes a little bit of an accumulation on a darkened area for them to really kind of quiet that down. So continued usage and consistent usage is important if that's a focus of yours. But this one, yeah, so primary skin types that love this sagging skin, drooping skin, or anyone wanting to brighten their skin, this is a super helpful one.
This is the Probiotic Serum with Tremella. This one is great for super sensitive, just kind of any irritating skin that's thrown off in one way or another sort of skin type. Two key angles of this one, we've got an olive leaf ferment in here. We also have a probiotic complex here. And so what the combination of those two do is they essentially feed the good bacteria of the face. And so they're nourishing the good bacteria with the intention to bring everything back into a balanced place. Skin, your skin flora, you know, much like a gut flora, it can be thrown off for a myriad of reasons. It can be, you know, temporary redness is a big one. It can be a new medication. It can be Change in scenery, you know, let's say you're traveling, there are a lot of things that can throw that off but nourishing good bacteria can help bring that back into balance. So for sensitive skin types, this also has a fair amount of herbs that help to really soothe skin. So calmed down skin that is prone to getting really upset or red or tender, this can help to soothe that all. Now these three serums, these are the three serums that come in the Serum Trio. And if you aren't familiar with what I'm talking about, one of the sample variations that we have kind of goes out with some of our influencers, like Dr. Mark Hyman, Green Smoothie Girl. There are several that have been excited to partner with us. They are showcasing this set of small serums available for sale. And so for a lot of people, this is their intro to our products. But I understand that it can be a little bit confusing, because it's like, how do I use three serums? There are a couple ways that I might suggest using it. One thing that I note is I very rarely suggest mixing the serums together.
Typically, if you really are excited about creating something, So if you're going to use two, you know more than one, then I would say use one in the morning and use one in the evening. But I think you get the best experience of experiencing the serums starting with one and using that one essentially till it's used up and then introducing another one because then you get a little bit of time where your skin is experiencing just that one serum and you are kind of becoming familiar with the way that one serum feels without, you know, wondering whether the other one is Giving you this effect or this one. So I, I usually say start with one, use it morning, use it evening, and then hop into the next one. And which one you start with is entirely up to you. But yeah, I would say start, I would say start with one. If you do really want to use two, do one in the morning and one in the evening. I wouldn't mix, I wouldn't mix them.
Now the next three serums. are part of the wild alchemy collection.
So the first one here, this is the Wild Fruit Serum. This is another one that has a high purchase rate. And so internally, we've been discussing whether we're going to put this one in a 30 milliliter bottle also because it is one that people purchase and then purchase again. This one is a really popular one because it addresses signs of aging from several different angles. So in this one, in the wild fruit serum, we have a lot of hyaluronic acid, so we're able to plump up the skin. We have in here uva ursi, so we've got this targeted brightener, like the citrus stem cell.
We have a lot of stem cells, so we use the Madonna lily plant stem cells in this one. And then we also have an ingredient called kakadu plum. And kakadu plum is very vitamin C rich. It's a very vitamin C rich product. And so we are incorporating that because vitamin C helps to brighten the skin by addressing the overall tone of the skin.
The overall brightness of the skin. So it's a little bit different than like an uva ursi. An uva ursi is working on a specific skin tone. a specific darkened spot it's helpful to use in conjunction with vitamin C because this is working to even out the complexion kind of as a whole. So this one is supportive for aging skin that's kind of its primary focus, but if you were really dry or just wanting to stave off signs of aging, then I would likely suggest this one for you as well.
Now the next one is the Activated CBD serum, and I want to show you the consistency of it here because all of the others have that same kind of thin light serum. This one's really rich and really creamy. It doesn't really run down the hand. The Activated CBD Serum. So CBD is really interesting. topical ingredient because what CBD does is CBD essentially works with your internal endocannabinoid system and it acts as a triage. So essentially any area of the skin that's breaking down in some way, Whether that's breaking down due to aging, whether that's breaking down due to a sensitivity, a reaction, irritation whether it's breaking down just that it's dry and so it's kind of like loose and dry feeling, all of these concerns, CBD can help kind of combat that can help support the skin. There's a lot that can go into the CBD at this point. I usually say do your own research, you know, give it a good Google because there are some things that we can speak to and some things that with our relationship with the FDA we just can't. But CBD is a supportive one for Signs of aging. So this one, this one with that rich creamy texture, it's very supportive for super dry skin, super sensitive skin, any combination of the two dry and sensitive, and then aging skin that may include being also dry and or sensitive. This can be really helpful for, because this one has this rich creamy consistency. This is one that a toning mist makes a big difference with. With the other ones, you might be able to kind of fudge it, but when you apply this one and you don't have a toning mist on, I just don't feel like it absorbs the same way. I feel like it kind of sits, doesn't absorb quite the way you might want it to, as opposed to the others. What else about this one? When you shop for this one, It's a good detail. When you click on the link, it is going to take you to its own website. So if you're looking at our site, and not the link that Grace sent, it looks like it's sold out. But if you click into it, you can go to the Activated CBD Serum page, I think it's called like our CBD boutique. And that is how we're able to legally retail this product as a CBD product here in the U. S. I've got one more here. All of the serums that I've mentioned so far can be used in the morning. It can be used in the evening or you can use them interchangeably You can kind of pick, you know, if pigmentation is your number one concern, maybe you're using the Citrus Stem Cell Serum in the morning and the Wild Fruit Serum in the evening If aging is your concern, maybe you're using the Wild Fruit Serum all day, you know, you're using morning and evening. You can mix and match. You can also just go with one for years and years. I used to only use the Probiotic Serum with Tremella. That was the one that I was just absolutely obsessed with.
But this last one, this is the Activated Night Serum. This one is designed for overnight wear only. So, and there are a couple of reasons behind that. The big reason is because our key ingredient here is what we call our bioactive A, and it's essentially a retinol alternative. So it still provides a very smooth, very taut and lifted feel to the skin, much like a retinol. It still exfoliates the skin, much like a retinol. But this is working in a different way. This is working kind of alongside the body versus breaking down the skin like a retinol does. So it's a little bit gentler. It is still a fairly active product, but we've also formulated this product to be really ideal for overnight wear to work with your rest and repair cycle. So when you're sleeping specifically when you hit your REM cycle, your body naturally kind of relaxes the skin on your face. The pores open a little bit. There might be a release. There's just this wide open time where a good skincare really makes a difference here. So we've got the BioActive A Complex. We've got the retinal alternative in this one. But then we've also included in here a bevy of anti agers. The consistency is also quite rich, so it's quite similar to the CBD where it's very soft, very creamy. So for really, really dry skin, this can be helpful for you know, helping to just quickly nourish. But it's designed to exfoliate with the bioactive A and then immediately replenish it. So I've yet to work with anyone. We launched this one last November? We launched this last fall, I think. And I've yet to work with anyone who experiences flaking or like tight dry skin. It's balanced pretty nicely. Aside from being really rich and creamy though, it also has black cumin seed oil. We've got butterfly pea flowers. We just selected more potent anti agers to include in this to be addressing signs of aging while you sleep. So this is a really, really effective one. Some skin types, so if your skin is normal or normal to oily you could probably use this every single night and have zero issues. My skin is on the sensitive side, so I'll usually do about three nights on, and then take a couple nights off. So give myself a few nights on, and then I can tell that it's, my skin's just a little pink from the BioActive A. If you were really, really, like, thick, oily skin, you might even invest in this set. I'm not going to spend too much time on it, but this is our concentrated boosting elixir set. And one of the boosters is called Revitalize, and it's a concentrated dose of the bioactive A. And so you can incorporate that into this. You do like a pump of the activated night, a couple drops of the revitalize, mix it, and then apply it. And then you've got a very intense night serum for the skin. With it being this retinal alternative, it does increase photosensitivity. So we don't want you to wear this into the sun. We also do recommend that you put your sunscreen on. This is our sun love, super clean zinc oxide. Put that on before you go out into the world. So let's pause here and see what questions we might have. Oh, I want to call out with this one before we get into questions real quick. Okay, now I'm, I'm ready for any serum questions that we might have.
Grace – Annmarie Skin Care Marketing Assistant: There is one in the chat, not specifically about serums, but we have a few people join a little later. I just want to make sure we can get her questions answered for her skin type. But anyways she has fine and deeper lines, combination skin, primarily oily, very sensitive skin, which includes temporary redness.
So she's just wondering if any of our products can help address all of her issues.
Kate – Annmarie Skin Care In-House Esthetician: Ooh, interesting. So potentially the appearance of fine lines, fine and deeper lines, sensitive, but oily. Did I, is that right what I captured, this? So, I think yes it would be a very kind of hodgepodge skin layout. Honestly, for that skin type, I cleanser wise, I would suggest either the Aloe Herb Cleanser, which we got into a little bit more at the beginning and for the sake of time, we're not going to go too detailed in, but this is a pretty supportive one for really sensitive skin, and is not too moisturizing. It's pretty light. It's not quite as oil controlling as our Citrus Mint Cleanser, but with sensitive skin, I think the Citrus Mint Cleanser could be a little bit aggravating. But just to throw the option out there, I think one of the two depending on your sensitivity type. This one does have peppermint, that can be aggravating. It's got some rosemary, which isn't usually aggravating, but the peppermint can be. But this one's really designed to cut through oil. really, really cut through oil. And then as far as the toning mist, the neroli is probably ideal for you. Neroli and aloe are super soothing. Both of these are super helpful for they're still pretty light though. So for the oily skin, it's not going to add a ton of extra like the botanical hydration mist would, that would probably add more than you're wanting there. And then serum wise, I think the probiotic would be pretty solid. It's not too much moisture. It really helps to balance the skin. So for sensitive skin I think I don't know if I made up the temporary redness detail, but any time of inflammatory concern, this helps to bring this into balance. And it does have some hyaluronic acid, but it's not overwhelming. It's not providing too much moisture for somebody with oily skin. I used to use this one when I was really blemish prone. I used this for years and years when that was my primary concern, and it doesn't add. You know, extra moisture oil or anything like that, but hopefully that's supportive.
And as we get into oils here next, we can speak to what might be the best one for that, that skin type. Okay, cool. Any other questions? Should we keep moving along? Great. Let's keep moving along. So facial oils, I'm probably going to talk about most of them. We have several different types of oils and we do use oil as our form of moisture for a couple reasons. First of all, we're not opposed to creams and we're not opposed to lotions. We Would like to have one and a little sneak peek. We actually are working on one right now But we've read what we've run into in the past is that it's really hard to make a cream or a lotion that maintains its Consistency and maintains its shelf life without the use of synthetic emulsifiers and the use of synthetic preservatives We have had lovely, lovely formulations, but they just, they just without utilizing one of those two, they don't last very long. And so in order to uphold our brand values, we just are not willing to put something out there that isn't top tier. So on the back end, we're actually working on one right now. It could launch later this year. It could launch early next year. We're fairly early still in the process, but just a heads up that we're not opposed to cream. But another thing that we've experienced more anecdotally with the oils is that everyone's skin naturally produces oil, whether it's less than you'd like, and you feel really dry, or it's more than you like, and you feel really oily. Everyone's skin naturally produces oil. And so incorporating Oil, especially a very clean oil, like ours are, is very bioavailable. Your body recognizes it, your body integrates it really easily. And so your skin takes on this very natural, healthy radiance. And this is true for my 20 year old clients, all the way up to my 90 plus year old clients. Everyone's skin just looks nice and healthy, nice and full. They might, there might be some creasing in lines that show naturally with their age, but the oil of the skin is just very healthy and vibrant. And so we're big fans of the oil, you know, for that reason as well. I'll start with our best seller here.
This one, this is the Anti-Aging Facial Oil.
And again, this is the best seller overall. This one in the Anti-Aging Serum, they dance back and forth, but it is available in the two sizes. The Anti-Aging Facial Oil is incredibly rich. This one starts with a jojoba, a golden organic jojoba. And with the golden organic jojoba, jojoba mimics skin's natural oil, like, very closely. And so when you're utilizing this, this is ideal for really, really dry skin. It just, like, seeps that in. It absolutely gobbles that up. What we do when we create our facial oils is we start with our anchor oil, and then we seed, and we're going to steep into the oil you know, plants, seeds, herbs, whatever direction we're going at a low heat, so everything maintains its nutritional value, nothing is over 90 degrees, actually, I think it's 91, like a very specific temperature, and then it gets strained and bottled. With this one, we steeped into it, broccoli seed, we've got chia seed, we've got goji berry, all of these are incorporated to really strengthen the skin. So you get this very healthy glow with the jojoba, and then your skin is kind of bolstered in its resiliency. And so we call it this restorative facial moisturizer. But essentially it just helps to provide this very smooth, healthy look to the skin, and again, help to maintain the strength of the skin, so that with repeated facial expressions, we're not having that stick around quite as long. Now, for my really dry customers, this one is going to be the most moisturizing of the oils that I mentioned.
I've got another one that's a pretty close one, but this one is still a little bit more moisturizing. And so, if dryness is your biggest concern, or signs of aging is your biggest concern, this is probably still the one you're going to go with. The anti aging. I'm a huge fan of Anti-Aging Facial Oil. I used to never, never wear it and then one day I was like, let's try it again and I don't think I've stopped. I don't think I've stopped. The next one is this one.
This is our Herbal Facial Oil for Normal & Combination Skin.
So this one, it's a little bit lighter. We start with a grapeseed oil base with this one, and then we've steeped into it herbs that are essentially designed to balance the oil to water production in the skin. So for my guest who had mentioned that their skin's got a lot going on, it's sensitive, but it's oily, it's got the appearance of fine lines, but, but, you know, It has other concerns. This could potentially be a good one for you. I, depending on your degree of sensitivity, you might also like the next one that I get into, but this one could be a good fit because this one is, it's designed for skin that's pretty right down the middle or skin that's kind of buried.
What it does is it helps to use the herbs that are incorporated to really balance the areas that are oily and balance the areas that are dry. And bring that back into alignment there. Yeah, like I mentioned, it's a little bit lighter than the anti aging, so if you are really dry, that's probably not the best fit for you, but if you're kind of dancing in between we've got a couple, we've got a good one for you.
This next one, this is the Herbal Facial Oil for Sensitive Skin. And so for those who have sensitive skin, You know, you know, mentioned or fill out the survey or know that you're really sensitive skin. This is a really great one. It's on the light side. So again, it's a grapeseed oil base. It's just a touch lighter than the jojoba. But it's steeped into it herbs like satcha inchi, camellia seed squalane, that are designed to soothe skin. I did a thing last week, which was, which I do actually know better, but I just wanted to know. One of the concentrated boosting elixirs, again, this set, I put the Brighton on my skin directly. With all of these, we very highly emphasize that they have a medium. They're mixed into a serum or an oil, but I was curious. Is it that strong? And it is. So I had a little bit of a red rashy, not too bad, but just a little bit of a flare up, like around my chin. I'm just using this directly on my skin because I can do these things so that you guys know not to. But I integrated this. I used this one pretty quickly because it just helps to soothe skin that gets red. My skin again is kind of normal on the dry side. And so this was a perfect one for my skin here in the summer. Yeah, it's, it's very light. We don't use any essential oils. So most of our products will contain some variation of essential oils. Not all the serums, but most of the products will incorporate some with intention. We're using them with a purpose, but we also know that if you're on the really sensitive side, it can be aggravating. And so this one has those left out. So because of that, the scent of this one is kind of earthy. It doesn't really smell like much. And what it smells like is just kind of like earthy oils. So it's pretty, pretty balanced. The next one is this one.
This is the Herbal Facial Oil for Oily Skin. Now, as the name suggests, this is really helpful to balance skin that gets really oily. It's also really helpful if you are somebody who is clogged pores prone, who has blemishes. It's an even lighter oil, so we start with a hazelnut oil with this one, and then we've stepped into different herbs to cut through oils. It's a nice, perfect amount of moisture for oily skin, and I know it can feel counterintuitive if you are oily to incorporate an oil, but I know, as weird as it feels, oil is what cuts through oil, and so it does really cut through to balance that out and to help to kind of slow the oil production. It has an ingredient called bitter, what is this one? Bitter orange leaf? Extract. Yeah, a bitter orange leaf extract which is actually helpful with pore size. And so if you're oily oftentimes you experience the appearance of larger pores. And this can be helpful to just kind of clear this out and to help to maintain a nice cleared out pore, which can then allow it to kind of reduce and shrink back to its normal size.
So I keep this one on hand. If I experience any kind of clogged pores if I am hormonal and I've got something that pops up I'll use this. I'll just apply that right on and then sleep with it on and it helps to soften that. Soften that, soothe the redness, all of that. The last one, and then we'll talk about eye products and then we'll see where we are with time.
This is the Rejuvenating Facial Oil. Now this one is kind of top tier with facial oils. We formulated this one quite differently. With the others we do this steeping, straining process. But we still did a little bit with this one. We steeped some herbs into it. It's a golden jojoba. But then what we did, and this is what really sets this oil apart, is we added so many activated ingredients directly into the final blend. So the intention was, when we were creating the rejuvenating facial oil, was to basically create the most active facial oil that we can, in terms of addressing signs of aging, and still allow it to be comfortable to be worn morning and evening. We didn't want it to just Obviously, fry your face off. So this is the final result of that and it is definitely shown up for, you know, it lives up to their reputation.
A couple key ingredients in here, we've got butterfly pea flowers. Butterfly pea flower is very rich in vitamins. Also super, super helpful for softening the appearance of fine lines providing the smooth look to the skin. Another key ingredient here is mongongo seed oil and mungongo seed. It's so helpful for softening skin just in general.
It ends up working to soften the appearance of fine lines, but it gives you this super soft skin texture. Just, you feel soft. Your skin feels really soft. So this is the most ideal for more pronounced signs of aging. This one, it does still use the golden jojoba, but because we mix into this, These activated ingredients, the black cumin seed, the butterfly pea flower, it dilutes the consistency a little bit. So it's still not quite as rich as the Anti-Aging Facial Oil. The Anti-Aging Facial Oil is a little bit richer. So for super super dry skin, probably still gonna go with the anti aging. But with Rejuvenating Facial Oil, this one is the most direct for addressing signs of aging. This is another one that I have several customers that just subscribe to this one. They have used other products and they continue to use other products, but their subscription is just for the Rejuvenating. They don't, they won't go without that one. So, those are the, those are the facial oils.
Real quick, I want to get into the eye creams and then see where we are with time, because I also want to make sure to talk about the new Radiant C Mask & Polish.
So eye creams, we have two main eye products, well we have two only eye products, but these are the eye products here. The small little black label here, this is called the Fruit Ceramide Eye Serum, and this in the tan label is our Anti-Aging Eye Cream. The Fruit Ceramide Eye Serum, like the name suggests, is a serum consistency, so it's very lightweight. This one incorporates a lot of skin, kind of like rebuilders. We've got pineapple ceramides, we've got sake peptides, and we've got stem cells in here. So this one is directly helping to support deeper creasing around the eye and the ceramides and peptides, what these help with is they help with the, this like protein chain, and so when you're incorporating them into the skin, they kind of help to rebuild areas of the skin. And so for deeper creasing, this is really helpful. Also for drooping. So if you're starting to notice drooping kind of underneath the brow or, you know, up along the lid, this can be helpful for both these ceramides and peptides, but also with the stem cells in here as well. So I usually will suggest this one if someone is really concerned with the eye area, specifically with creasing around the eye area, specifically with drooping around the eye area more pronounced signs of aging.
And where this goes in your routine, I typically suggest this before your facial serum, and again it's pretty ideal to have skin a little bit damp. This one's got this nice kind of golden color to it, and so if you try to apply it to just completely bone dry skin, sometimes it kind of pills up a little bit. So whether you leave skin a little bit damp from rinsing off your cleanser, whether you leave it damp from your toning mist, just having a little bit of dampness and then applying this for both this product and the eye cream, I typically suggest right around the orbital bone. The tissue around the eye area is super thin and it naturally pulls products into it. So you don't need to necessarily go all the way up to the lash line. They're not dangerous if you do. I feel like you just use a little bit more product and so you get a little bit more life. You just focus on the orbital bone. The Anti-Aging Eye Cream, this one is kind of a broader sweep of concerns that this addresses. And so the eye cream has ingredients to nourish the eye area. It does have a lot of ingredients. This is a really rich blend. We've got hyaluronic acid. We have stem cells in this one, too. We have an herb, and I can never remember which, which one that is, but it's got a lot of vitamin K. And vitamin K is really helpful if you are starting to see darkness under the eye. Because oftentimes when you're seeing this dark show through under the eye, What's happening is you're getting this like capillary show through sometimes it is genuine pigmentation. So the pigment of the skin is activated. That's usually hereditary. And oftentimes you're aware that that's what's going on.
But just when it's starting to look a little darker that can happen with, you know, age that can happen with lack of sleep that can happen with a lot of salt. It just kind of breaks down the capillary wall. And so you see it through that really thin eye area that's thin skin up here. So vitamin K, what vitamin K does is it helps to strengthen the capillary wall. So you aren't seeing that show through quite as profoundly. Another key ingredient in this one is cucumber distillate. And I am absolutely obsessed with this, this part of it. I use this product a lot specifically for de-puffing. I feel like my eyes even right now are puffier than they normally are because I just got back from a camping trip and so I haven't been using this for a couple days and I always notice the difference when I take a few days off. It just is a little bit puffier looking versus when I am on it. So I have been using this one for Even before I worked here, I used this one for years and years. Now this one, I typically suggest applying this over your facial oil. And I know that's a little bit counterintuitive. I know it's a little bit, like, funky, but over your facial oil, because it is a little bit richer than the facial oil. And so if you do the opposite, what happens is the oil kind of just sits on the skin where the eye cream has been applied. So, With that, let's see. Any questions that have come up about the oils or the eye creams? Or should we keep going? Should we get into this one? Grace, chat looks good. Okay, cool. Let's do it.
This is our Radiant C Mask & Polish. This is a mask and scrub, and this is a pretty new launch for us, so we're kind of jazzed. And also we're going to do our survey here in a moment, and so we'll see who's won this. This bottle, this full bottle, is a dry blend. And I've shaken a little bit into a jar here so you can kind of see what it looks like.
It's just this nice, like, pinky blend. When you mix it, you mix it with water, it gets really red. One of the ingredients here is acerola cherry. And so the intention with this, all of the ingredients that have been selected are very vitamin C rich. They're like this whole product is very vitamin C rich. And so for anyone who's wanting to brighten the skin or even out the tone of the skin, this is kind of a must have. You can use it in so many different ways. You can mix this into a cleanser. That's how I've been using it most of the time lately. I'll do a couple pumps of the aloe herb, a little shake of this, and it just increases the kind of buffing, brightening property of the Aloe Herb Cleanser. I don't usually leave it on the skin too long using it that way, but you, I suppose could, could and then rinse it off. You can use this as a scrub, so you can shake a little bit into your hand, get a little bit of water and then use it to buff and polish the face. I feel like the consistency of it is on the lighter side, but it's not the most gentle. We've got another one, our Ayurvedic facial scrub that's even more gentle. This has a little bit of a, of a, of a buff to it. This has some texture to it. You can mix this with other liquids. So let's say you were wanting, let's say you had super oily skin and you had really blemished prone skin. Maybe you use a little bit of diluted apple cider vinegar. Shake a little bit of this in your hand and buff your skin with that. Likewise with using this as a mask. So you can also do the same thing. Shake some into your hand. Put some in a little jar. Get your fingers wet and then apply it and leave it. On the skin. This utilizes a nice red French clay. And so there's also this mineralization that happens as you're using this on the face as well.
So when you rinse it, the skin feels super soft, especially if you left it on a little bit longer. But this also mixes nicely with the illuminating pearl mask that has been my favorite. This is one of our masks here, and great for pretty much any skin type, but specifically dry, sensitive, or wanting to brighten the skin. It's got this kind of, like, gray color, but when you mix the Radiant C Mask & Polish into it, it just is very, like, pinky. And pretty. I also have worked with people who have mixed this into just honey, and so they've applied this, mixing this just into honey, leaving it on the skin. However you're incorporating it, you have the option to use it as a mask or to use it as a scrub. It's working to brighten the overall complexion. There's so much vitamin C in here and softens the skin. So provide this nice softness to the skin. I don't really know how long it lasts yet. Somebody asked that recently and because it's so new and there are so many ways to use it, I feel like you really could also kind of customize your pace. You could use it daily with the cleanser, and then you're going to go through it quite a bit faster than if you use it like once or twice a week with a mask or something along those lines. So, it varies, but I don't have a solid response to that yet. But it's a giant bottle. I feel like this is a huge bottle of that. It seems like you would take some time to go through. It does smell a lot like the cherry, so when you shake it out and you mix it with water, you smell the cherry. It looks nice and red on the face. Nice and pinky. But yeah, this is the Radiant C Mask & Polish.

It's no one else's face or no one else's audio. So, if you have more questions, you can check out the YouTube page, and Grace may be linked to the YouTube page, and so you can check that out.
