As we get older, we tend to lose important nutrients that helped make our skin look smooth and fresh.
Fortunately, using a natural ingredient that contains hyaluronic acid can help reduce appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Hyaluronic acid can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
A Little More About This Ingredient
Hyaluronic acid is naturally present throughout the body, especially concentrated in the eyes and skin. Also called “hyaluronan,” “hyaluronate,” or “HA,” it’s been referred to as the “goo” molecule. We find it in the synovial fluid of joints, as well as in the eyeballs.
For cosmetic purposes, HA is often extracted from the Japanese sweet potato, soy, and gelatinous root vegetables.
Benefits to the Skin
In skin care, we experience a number of benefits from hyaluronic acid:
- Moisturizes/Plumps: The most commonly known benefit of HA is its ability to plump up your look. If you’re suffering from dry skin, or from skin that gets dry throughout the day, HA can be very helpful.
- Reduce the appearance of wrinkles: Because of its moisturizing, hydrating, and plumping effect, HA helps to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. It works when applied topically.
- Tightens and firms: Hyaluronic acid can help firm and tighten your look, keeping skin supple and with a youthful appearance.
- Protects: When you apply hyaluronic acid to the skin, it forms a protective layer that can help protect from environmental stressors.
Try It!
We included HA in our Citrus Stem Cell Serum for its ability to help skin hold onto moisture and its ability to firm, plump and tighten. Try it and let us know what you think!

Hyaluronic acid works for wrinkles because the molecule swells after it absorbs water, and that plumps lines on the spot. Look for products with hyaluronic acid listed near the top of the ingredient list, cause that means there is alot of it. I use Lady Soma’s Renewal Serum for my hyaluronic acid and will never stop using it. Its my favorite – and I am so happy everyone is into hyaluronic acid now because it does work!

I love, love, love your products. i’ve been using the Citrus Stem Cell Serum but not regularly due to the price. Not complaining….I know your ingredients are expensive. I do have a friend who questioned how your Citrus Stem Cell Serum would compare with the many products out there that include hyaluronic acid. I know many people expect a quick fix…who doesn’t. Many of the quick fixes include toxic, synthetic ingredients. Have you had long term users report a decrease in appearance of wrinkles. There are definitely some positive reviews on your website!
Thank you for making such special and yummy smelling facial care!
