Vitamin C Seaweed Serum
Rich in anti-oxidants, this serum helps tighten the appearance of skin and is great for firming.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Irish Moss
- 1 and 1/3 cup Water
- 1 tbsp Vitamin C Powder
Directions:
Place the Irish Moss in water and allow to soak for 20 minutes. Blend the moss and soak water for 30-40 seconds. Add Vitamin C. Blend for another 20 seconds or until moss is fairly smooth.
Pour into a jar with a lid and allow it to set for five minutes, or place in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to chill for a great after-sun treatment.
This recipe makes a whole lot, but will last at least two weeks in the refrigerator. You might want to make a half portion if you do not plan on using it very frequently.
To Apply:
Take 1/2 tbsp of the Seaweed Serum and massage all over your face and neck. Keep on for 10-15 min. It will dry, so you may want to keep a spray bottle near by and spray water (or even one of my toners) on your face periodically in order to keep it moist. Wash off well.
This will leave you with a natural glow and super soft skin! Care for more vitamin C serum recipes? Check out this article for how to make another natural, DIY vitamin C serum.
