Where and when do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m surrounded by my family and pets in my home. I’m such a homebody and much prefer lounging in pajamas to hitting the town. I love cooking and spending time reconnecting with my loved ones.
What does beauty mean to you?
Beauty means embracing your divine, authentic self fully and without excuse. It means honoring the scars, lines and wrinkles, and acknowledging them as proof that you’ve lived full out! It means leaving the shame of your past behind, shaking hands with the present, and opening up fully to the future and it’s many gifts.
What makes you feel beautiful?
I really strive to live my truth and be transparent when I show up in the world. It’s not always easy and I am not always perfect, but when I am fully present and open is when I feel most beautiful. I think vulnerability (which I feel is hugely empowering) is downright sexy!
What’s your favorite beauty secret or tip?
My diet plays a huge role in my beauty routine. I use very few creams, sprays or lotions, and instead rely on beautifying from the inside out by eating a whole food, plant-based diet. I even filled an entire cookbook (The Hungry Hottie Cookbook) with my favorite beautifying, fat-burning, soul-sizzling recipes. I do, however, indulge in Annmarie Gianni’s Anti-Aging Facial Oil and Neroli Toning Mist! They are both must haves!
What do you do when you want to pamper yourself?
When I want to really pamper myself, I turn to the experts. I book a visit at a fabulous spa and indulge. My schedule is far too busy to
do this on a regular basis, so when I do get the free time, I take advantage! I love a deep, powerful massage followed by a nice sugar scrub and soak in the tub. Does it get any better?
Isn’t she beautiful? If you want to keep up with Cynthia’s amazing life, visit her on her Facebook page, or connect with her on Twitter.
Much Love,
Annmarie Gianni
