We Partnered with Batch for our First Ever Pop-Up

This month, Annmarie Skin Care was thrilled to partner with Batch. This magical space in the heart of San Francisco is rethinking the retail experience, through hosting ‘batches’ of thoughtful, curated goods in a carefully considered, highly tactile and interactive environment.

Through our partnership, we were able to host one of our first ever pop-up shops in tandem with five immersive, community-oriented events, ranging from networking, to crafting, to what we do best.. skincare! Here’s a recap of our highlights from the month.

Brandon Peele: Is Your Soul's Purpose the Key to Inner Beauty?

Brandon Peele, author of Purpose Rising and the upcoming book, Planet on Purpose, led us through an intimate workshop on purpose and inner beauty. His work centers around the science of purpose, backed by research that suggests connecting with your higher purpose is correlated with healthy cell structures, vitality, and so much more. This evening of inward reflection gave us space to start tapping into our deeper intentions through creating Purpose Trees, and connecting with each other.

Herb Bundle Making: Conscious Crafting

Whether you use them for rituals, your altar or as pure decor, herb bundles are the perfect addition to any room. We broke out some of our favorite medicinal herbs – lavender, sage rosemary, chamomile – and paired them with flowers and twine to create divinely fragrant bundles. Led by Becca Piastrelli, we also gained some self care guidance and  insight into the practice.

Women’s Circle: Tapping Into the Divine Feminine

For this special gathering, we communed with one another for a night of deep connection and joy. We joined together and worked hand-in-hand to build an altar of foliage and flowers, resulting in a mandala of petals and greenery. The community spirit was alive and well, accompanied by ancient practices of connecting in sisterhood.

DIY Masking Night: Self Care 101

Nothing says self care like curling up after a long day with a face mask, and we wanted to share tools for you to maximize your masks at home! Our in-house aesthetician Abby & COO Rachel led an interactive workshop on our signature masks and provided education on all the natural ingredients that make for magical masks: clays, herbs, oils and superfoods. Under their guidance, attendees crafted their very own take-home DIY mask, customized specially for their skin’s needs.

Marketing Fete: Collaboration + Cocktails

For our grand finale, we gathered with industry professionals, fellow wellness and beauty brands, bloggers, and influencers for a night of organic bites, conscious mingling and delicious tonics, featuring tasty wines from Dry Farms Wines and bubbly mixers from Good Idea Drinks.

Though a large part of Annmarie exists online, we place the highest value on making real, deeper connections in-person and offline. We’d like to extend our gratitude to everyone who came out and made our first venture into hosting a pop-up so special, we absolutely loved meeting you. We hope you’ll join us for the next event!
