Beautiful Voices is our ongoing blog series that highlights inspiring, empowering women. Our most recent Beautiful Voice is Debra Moran. See what she says when Annmarie asks her some questions about her own personal beauty.
I am a certified Integrative Life Coach, which is one of my greatest passions in life. I am married with two dogs a Shih Tzu and a Brussels Griiffon. I love supporting others to heal their hearts and to manifest their own brillance in becoming whole, while finding the gifts of their personal failures, setbacks and wounds. I coach people from all over the world in the comfort of their home over the phone. I love all animals and am inspired by the poet RUMI.
Who do you feel you are today? What event has defined your life?
Because of my own experiences growing up feeling different and introverted and having no outlet or language for my sensitivity, I became wild and rebellious and self destructive. Because of that, I have turned my wounds into wisdom and become an Integrative Life Coach trained and mentored by NY Times bestselling author Debbie Ford. My life is now defined by being of service to others.
Who or what is your biggest inspiration?
I am most inspired by women who are authentic and confident and who inspire others with love, humor, and compassion. Also I am inspired by the innocence and wonder of animals and children.
What was your biggest challenge and how did you overcome it?
My biggest challenges have been around health. I suffered from chronic pain and now I am pain free! I take action steps to improve my thoughts, beliefs, and most of all to forgive others and myself. One of my favorite writers is Emmet Fox, who said “Forgiveness is the vestibule of Heaven.” I walk around with my heart and mind open, and I’m very honest with myself when I feel stuck and want to blame others or my circumstances.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Best advice I received is “don’t take anything personally.” When someone behaves a certain way, it’s because of them and not me, because they have their own bundle of beliefs and everyone is doing the best they can. I’ve also learned to keep a sense of humor and remember keep it light!
What do you do when you want to pamper yourself?
When I want to pamper myself, I go for a monthly massage. That is also the reason I like Annmarie’s products. They are natural, smell good, and I actually feel pampered when I use them. I use the Aloe Herb Facial Cleanser. It helps with dry skin in the winter. Plus the Neroli Toning Mist—I feel like Cleopatra when I spray it on my face. I love to feel luxurious! I also sleep with a silk pillowcase.
Isn’t she beautiful?
Much Love,
Annmarie Gianni
